Chairman's Message

Chairman"Education is not the learning of the facts, but the training of the mind to think..." Education is not a mere accumulation of facts; it is preparation for life itself. One of the most significant character traits that need to be inculcated in children during their education is a finely ingrained attitude of service-before-self.

Our aim is to make the children successful not only in life but also to make them conscious about their duties and responsibilities towards their fellow citizens. It is with this vision that the Indian school Ras Al Khaimah started its journey in 1977 with the patronage of Sheikh Abdul Malik. It was the birth child of a group of visionaries who were elected representatives of the Indian Association Ras Al Khaimah. It is managed by the Indian Association, which to date remains the sole institution representing the expat Indian population in the emirate. The Indian Association Ras Al Khaimah has addressed the problems and grievances of multitudes of Indian expats over generations.

Indian School, Ras Al Khaimah was started off as a structure predominantly with portable cabins, where most of the classrooms functioned to the state which it is now where it has grown into a multistoried state-of-the-art facility at par with international standards, which include classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and an auditorium. The school has a capacity of 2800 students and we take diligent efforts in providing admissions to eligible candidates.

We always had it in us, the will and the hunger to excel have been our mark, thank God Almighty, our school is an ever-growing inspiration to this day. From humble beginnings in the Northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, Indian School has grown into a center of academic excellence. Our children have brought forth their extracurricular brilliance and have won accolades several times at the GCC level. Our institution’s success was sculpted by years of tireless and meticulous efforts of our teachers and staff.

The aim of our school is to promote a system of integral education in a congenial child-friendly environment that emphasizes unity. We believe that education should enable the students to soar high morally, socially, and spiritually. We believe that our students need to learn that, the secret of success and contentment lies in discovering one's own strengths as well as limitations. We are giving priority to teaching 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytic thinking to help our students develop the ability to reach sound conclusions based on observation and information.

Our school curriculum allows our teachers the flexibility to adopt innovative methods to stimulate interests and attention among the students and to develop values in them to appreciate the values of the past, the excitement of the present, and the challenges of the future.

We are arrogantly proud to say that our students have grown onto becoming successful entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, and by the almighty’s will they are future architects of our country.
